Dr. Kalaaji, head of the Norwegian Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NFEP) and senior physician at Oslo Plastic Surgery, was interviewed by VG in this connection about the growing tendency for patients to choose to have surgery abroad.
He says that they see many examples of patients who have gone abroad to perform plastic surgery - who come home and are not satisfied, or have complications, especially when it comes to MRSA, which are yellow staphylococci that are resistant to the penicillin treatments we use here in Norway.
