Our senior consultant Dr. Amin Kalaaji was invited to BHAAAS, Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina to give a lecture on some of the most current topics in aesthetic plastic surgery today.
Dr. Kalaaji, the clinic's chief physician, gave lectures on "Periorbital fat grafting, avoiding complications and getting favorable results" and "Intimate rejuvenation", and received professional input from renowned plastic surgeons who shared their experiences and techniques at the conference.
Periorbital rejuvenation mainly consists of both non-invasive rejuvenation and surgical rejuvenation.
Intimate rejuvenation is a series of surgical techniques applied to the female genital region to address aesthetic and functional issues. The type of surgical treatment will depend on the genital problem in question. The clinic's senior consultant has many years of experience with such procedures and has conducted research on the subject. We want to stay professionally up to date at all times so that we can offer our patients the latest and safest techniques, so that they can feel well cared for with us.

BIH 26.06.2022.
ZAVRŠENI 13. DANI BHAAAS U BIH : Četiri impresivna dana za nauku i umjetnost - Infodan
The International Symposium on Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, held recently in Sarajevo, on the 13th days of BHAAAS BiH, attracted a lot of attention from the world's medical professionals. At the symposium, which brought together top experts from seven countries around the world, the latest achievements in the field of microsurgery, regenerative surgery, the newest methods of
body shaping and safety measures related to surgical procedures were presented.

Symposium chair Dr. Mahira Tanović, plastic surgeon in New York and owner of a private medical practice for plastic and reconstructive surgery in New York, and last year's president of the Bosnia and Herzegovina-American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), did not hide her satisfaction with the lectures and thanked all the participants of the symposium.
"This was a very useful symposium primarily for managers of plastic surgery clinics as well as students who could learn new knowledge from the world's best surgeons. What is very important is that we have made plans for future cooperation and education of local specialists in plastic surgery said Dr. Tanović."

The organization of the symposium was highly appreciated by Dr. Milomir Ninković, Head of the Clinic for Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Hand Surgery at the Burn Center, Bogenhausen Hospital, Munich (Germany) and President of the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS):
"Congratulations so much on the organization of the symposium. I was really surprised by the number of extremely high quality speakers and the level of teaching. I attend the world's most famous congresses, but the one organized by BHAAAS and others. Mahira Tanović surpasses the level of the largest congresses. Everything was thematically complex so that both the youngest assistants and the oldest professors had the opportunity to learn something new for their future clinical and scientific work. I give the organizers of this meeting the highest possible rating, because they managed to combine scientific work with a wonderful social component and an atmosphere of socializing. Thank you once again and I look forward to meeting again next year," said Dr. Ninkovic.
One of the best of the young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina agrees with this assessment. plastic surgeon living and working in Qatar, Dr. Drazan Eric:
"As a lecturer, I had the honor and pleasure to attend the most important scientific meeting in Bosnia and Herzegovina and present my experiences from Qatar on post-bariatric surgery. The symposium was excellently organized and covered the most important and current topics in plastic surgery. We owe a big thank you to Dr. Mahiri Tanović who, as a great enthusiast, managed to bring us all together, after so many years, in Sarajevo, in our wonderful country. We will continue to help BHAAAS et al. Tanović in the organization of future symposia, which aim to educate our colleagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina", said Dr. Erik.
The founder and owner of the Varis Clinic from Serbia and one of the most prominent surgeons in the field of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and the president of the Association of Plastic Aesthetic Surgeons of Serbia, Dr. Siniša Kojić said that the conference at the 13th Days of BHAAAS is one of the most important gatherings after the break caused by the coronavirus.
"Not only did it bring together world-class lecturers from the US, Russia and across Europe, but also most of those surgeons who started their career in Sarajevo and continued it successfully in America, Germany, Qatar, Serbia. I am proud and honored by the invitation to be part of the professional team that presented novelties in the world of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and the gathering was inspired by our Sarajevo spirit. See you next year," said Dr. Kojic.
"Having returned from beautiful BiH less than seven days ago, I can't stop thinking about the great experience. Not only was the BHAAAS Plastics Section meeting well organized, but the enthusiasm and camaraderie among colleagues was amazing. There were experts from all over the world who selflessly shared their experiences and definitely enhanced my knowledge. Above all, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of my colleagues from BiH who guided me through a fascinating two-day tour of beautiful Bosnia. I understand the lifestyle and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina very well, I am well acquainted with the unfortunate events of the 90s, but I am also fascinated by how people in Bosnia and Herzegovina rebuilt one of the great cities like Sarajevo and preserved the culture of the Western world," said eminent American surgeon Dr. Dennis Hurwitz.
The lecturers at the International Symposium of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery were:
Dr. Dražen Erić (Qatar), Dr. Milomir Ninković, Ph.D. Alija Aginčić (BiH), Dr. Amin Kalaaji (Norway), Ph.D. Dennis Hurwitz (USA), Ph.D. Akhmed Rakhimov (Russia), Dr. Siniša Kojić (Serbia), Dr. Viacheslav Vasilyev (Russia).
