SOFCEP (French Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) 30th Congress 2017 in Marseille, France

Consultant Dr. Kalaaji at Oslo Plastic Surgery participated at SOFCEP (French Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) 30th Congress 2017 in Marseille, France as Faculty member, moderator and guest lecturer.

He gave a lecture on breast augmentation with his own fat (fat grafting), which he has years of experience in, and compared the various techniques he has developed over the years, comparing 122 cases that have undergone this procedure at Oslo Plastic Surgery. More and more people are requesting this type of breast augmentation instead of implants to improve shape and volume. Many also choose to remove the old prostheses and insert their own fat instead, as this feels more natural to the patient. Patients who have been bothered by encapsulation of the breast implants have had a good effect by removing these and transplanting their own fat instead. Some patients who have embedded implants want to keep them but want more fullness. They may benefit from a fat graft in addition. 

 
He also participated as moderator and chairman during the lectures on the topic of female intimate surgery.
