The clinic's chief physician, Dr. Kalaaji, participated as a guest lecturer at SFEP's (Swedish Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) congress in Gothenburg 23-26 October 2016.
He lectured on his experiences with "combined surgery", surgeries which involves two or more different interventions in the same session, such as with a "mommy makeover". The lecture was about the benefits, consequences and risks of multiple and long-term interventions and the importance of careful planning before this is carried out. He has experience with over 178 cases of combined surgery.
He also lectured on his 8-year experience with breast augmentation using his own fat. Lectures were given on the application and duration of the fat, on improving the shape and volume of women who already have implants, and for those who choose to remove the implants, for example in case of capsular contracture, and would rather insert fat to preserve the volume and shape of the breasts.
