I would like to express my deepest, endless gratitude to Dr. Amin Kalaaji and his entire wonderful team (and the sweet and talented Michelle, the clinic secretary ).

Even professionals like Dr. Kalaaji can rarely perform miracles, but I would like to give my testimony of what for me has been a complete rebirth of my face. When I was only 18 years old, I suffered a terrible motorcycle accident, in which the asphalt literally took away the somatic features of my face. I could speak, but from my lips down everything had changed. After several attempts at reconstruction in Milan over the years, I was no longer able to find myself again – which was understandable, given how difficult my case was. Imagine looking at yourself in the mirror and no longer recognizing yourself – never again. It was an enormous psychological burden on my daily life.

Last summer, I decided to approach Dr. Kalaaji and his team for a last, desperate attempt to reconstruct my lips. With half a lion’s heart—and on the other hand the sense of defeat of someone who thought she could never love herself again—I took the plunge. Every time I faced a mirror, I felt like I was seeing a deformed monster and not myself. This frustration had completely destroyed my soul and my social life for years. Yet, in the midst of all my despair, I decided to make one last attempt.

And Dr. Kalaaji did it – a thousand times more than anyone could have expected in such a desperate case as mine. A true miracle, which neither I nor anyone else – not even the doctor himself – had really believed possible, given the difficulty of the challenge. Today I had a final check-up, and they were truly amazed by the amazing result!

I can't even find the words to describe what I feel now, when I look at myself in the mirror – several months after the surgery, almost a year. I have started to love myself and life again. My lips were just one of many things that had given me deep depression. I will be eternally grateful to this man with literally gold in his hands – an innate skill, professionalism and passion for his work.

But I sincerely believe that this is not just a profession for Dr. Kalaaji – it is a passion he has dedicated his life to, and still does, by giving his patients a new birth – in their most beautiful and radiant form. I will never stop thanking Dr. Kalaaji – grateful for the rest of my life!

"I looked up and read a bit about different surgeons and clinics, until I came to the decision to choose Oslo Plastic Surgery with Dr. Amin Kalaaji. It was the best decision I have ever made. Oslo Plastic Surgery is not only concerned with the patient thinking the result is "OK", they want you to be really satisfied, which is great. They also do not operate when they do not think it is necessary at all, which says a lot about how good their morals are.

All equipment is sterile, I had a major operation but didn't get an infection even though it's an area with a high risk of infection. The staff is incredibly nice, the anesthesiologist and surgeon are incredibly skilled. Labiaplasty has a bad reputation, probably because it's seen as not loving yourself the way you are – but that's simply not the case in all cases.

I was born with large inner labia, so large that I got chronic infections and had painful sores there often. I went to the doctor and got a prescription for medication that I had to take once a week for six months, to prevent yeast infection. As soon as I stopped taking them, it came back. It was a constant struggle to have pain there, I couldn't sit with my legs crossed because it would squeeze them. I couldn't wear nice jeans every day because they gave me sores.

I am a woman, and underwear is something we like to buy, but I had such large labia that there were many underwear items I couldn't wear, either because the labia protruded on the sides or because I got sores from, for example, lace panties. Intercourse was complicated because the lips could be torn by the friction, which resulted in it being painful. I can understand those who fight for people to love themselves and not resort to surgery where it's not necessary, because I agree with that – but then they also have to understand that getting labiaplasty when you need it is absolutely the right decision too. For several years, this has been my biggest problem, and Dr. Amin Kalaaji took away all my pain. Thank you so much for that, you have changed my life forever.

I was declared disabled at Rikshospitalet in 2021. At that time, I could hardly walk, due to "heel fatpad syndrome". I had sought help for 3 years, but was told by all the medical personnel I consulted that damaged fat pads in the heels could not be fixed. Then I found Dr. Kalaaji. After two operations performed by what must be the best of surgeons, it now feels like I have been given the gift of life again. You don't think about the ability to walk until it is gone, and getting it back is absolutely amazing.

"In 2018, I went to Turkey, where I had a BBL operation. I only had one conversation with the surgeon and that was right before the operation. He asked me if I wanted a big butt, I replied that I wanted a natural butt and not too big. I found out after the operation that a kilo of fat had been transferred from my body into each buttock, for a total of two kilos. The result was of course very uneven, asymmetrical, and there were deep indentations in several places. My stomach was also destroyed in the process, because the surgeon removed too much fat.

I have uneven skin and loose skin on my stomach as a result of how much fat they removed. I was completely devastated after this. I had more complexes after the surgery than before the surgery. I was so ashamed. I no longer dared to wear swimwear, training tights or other clothing that could show the uneven skin. I greatly regretted the surgery that was performed in Turkey. I am aware that traveling to Turkey for surgery is a huge risk, I made a stupid choice and I do not recommend anyone to travel to Turkey for surgery.

From 2018 to 2021, I really wanted to have surgery on my buttocks for a more natural result, as it was clear that something looked wrong. I decided to wait with my stomach until I was done having children. I did a lot of searches for surgeons in Norway and I went for consultations in the Oslo area. I finally decided to have surgery with Dr. Amin Kalaaji. The impression I had was that no one else was as qualified as him to be able to correct it. I experienced Dr. Amin Kalaaji as professional, accommodating and responsive to what I was thinking and what result I expected. I wanted both my buttocks and hips smaller, because they did not look natural. I wanted more symmetry and a smoother result. I also wanted deep depressions to disappear in some way. Dr. Amin Kalaaji was direct and honest in terms of what result I could expect. He also pointed out things that I did not think about that could worsen the result.
