In "P3 Checks Out", host Leo Ajkic meets young people to talk about what they are interested in. The first program is about the butt, and Oslo Plastic Surgery's senior consultant Dr. Kalaaji is interviewed in this program about his experiences with butt augmentation with your own fat.

Dr. Kalaaji informs here that he operates 2-3 buttocks a month and that there are several consultations regarding butt augmentation on each consultation day. The superior also says that he is clear that he does not operate on just anyone. "I do not operate on those who have unrealistic expectations, those who want what we call a "balloon butt"". Kalaaji says he rejects around 20{54b116087a6f74e83971d02c04db3cc13141fd9ff760a1e389c9721123fe5531} of those he consults. Some of these women then choose to have the procedure outside Norway. But the surgeon warns against having fat transplantation performed by unscrupulous operators, of which he says there are unfortunately many abroad. Poorly performed work can, in the worst case, cause life-threatening complications.

“If fat is injected too deeply, or into the muscle, you can get a blood clot,” explains the surgeon. He recommends that everyone make sure that the surgeon is a member of the Norwegian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NFEP) before undergoing buttock augmentation with their own fat.
