Amin Kalaaji, the doctor in charge at Oslo Plastic Surgery, praises the desire for slightly smaller breasts. "Our principles are that you should not change nature, but you can improve what you are given", Kalaaji tells VG.

Oslo Plastic Surgery performs around 130 breast procedures annually. Of their patients, 70 percent are in a relationship or married and have children, are established and have good jobs, according to the chief physician.

- Those who want big, glamorous boobs usually have the wrong view of aesthetics and femininity. Fortunately, not many people want them. They can cause both physical and psychological problems," says Kalaaji, who believes that the female ideal is changing.
