Warns against medical tourism

In Norway, Norwegian plastic surgeons warn against having surgery abroad.

In an interview with TV2, plastic surgeon Amin Kalaaji, senior physician at Oslo Plastic Surgery and head of the Norwegian Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, strongly advises against traveling abroad to undergo surgery. He is afraid of resistant bacteria, inadequate follow-up, poorer insurance and that it is more difficult to carry out quality control abroad.
