It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Oslo Plastic Surgery has had its study published by
"breast augmentation with implants versus breast lift with the insertion of implants" in the prestigious magazine Aesthetic Surgery Journal December 2018.
The research was published to examine the quality of life of women who have undergone this form of breast surgery.
The study was based on an anonymous survey with 47 questions to which a total of 108 women answered. They compared the quality of life before and after one surgery both for those who had only had breast implants inserted and those who had had a breast lift in addition to implants and then compared the two groups against each other.

Konklusjon:
None of our patient groups were stereotypical, and motivation for surgery was primarily cosmetic in both groups. BI patients were significantly more satisfied with the aesthetic outcome and quality of life from many psychosocial aspects. AM patients may have had different expectations than BI patients, and a more significant dissatisfaction was reported regarding shape, scars, symmetry and nipples.
