Intimate surgery: labiaplasty and vaginal tightening

Intimate surgery - a happy couple holding each other around their husband and both laughing

Get rid of discomfort and improve your confidence

Intimate surgery is a collective term for various surgical procedures performed on the genitals. This can help you reduce discomfort during activities, sexual intercourse or after childbirth or aging. Examples of intimate surgery include outer and inner labia reshaping, fat removal or injection, clitoral hood, correction and tightening.

The purpose is not to design the vagina or labia, but to alleviate physical or mental discomfort during practical daily activities and in intimate situations. This also helps to boost self-esteem.

Before you decide to undergo any of these treatments, it is important that you familiarize yourself with them. Operating on the intimate area just to achieve a desired look is not recommended.

When should you have intimate surgery?

The decision to undergo intimate surgery is a personal one. It is important to carefully consider your wishes and goals, and to have realistic expectations of the outcome.

Here are some things to consider when considering intimate surgery

  • Your symptoms or concerns: Are you experiencing discomfort, pain or functional problems? Are you unhappy with the appearance of your genitals?
  • Your general state of health: Are you healthy enough to undergo surgery?
  • Your expectations for the result: What do you hope to achieve with intimate surgery?
  • Risks and side effects: All surgical procedures involve risks and side effects. You need to be comfortable with these risks before making a decision.

Our treatments

The most common types of intimate surgery in women:

Labiaplasty - a flower

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is an operation that corrects enlarged or asymmetrical labia minora. This may be for aesthetic reasons, to improve comfort and hygiene, or to relieve pain or discomfort during intercourse. With us, you can have this surgical procedure performed with a focus on your well-being and your wishes.

Reduction of inner labia minora (Labia Minora)

Individual variations in the appearance of the intimate area are completely natural and there is no universal standard for 'normal'. Yet some women may experience discomfort such as itching, irritation, soreness and pain related to the size or shape of their labia minora. Labia minora plastic surgery offers a solution by reducing size or correcting asymmetry, with the aim of improving quality of life.

The surgery leaves a discreet scar on the labia to minimize visibility and avoid increased sensitivity that can occur from scar tissue placed more prominently.

Inner labia correction is suitable for those who:

  • Experiencing discomfort from itching, irritation, sorenessor pain in the area.
  • Want to reduce the size of of inner labia that may be enlarged.
  • Looking for solutions to correct asymmetry between the inner labia.
  • Will improve aesthetic appearance for increased confidence and comfort.

Tightening of the vaginal canal (vaginal canal)

Vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure that tightens tissue in the vagina to improve control and comfort. This may be necessary after childbirth, aging or other factors that have led to vaginal wall laxity.

The procedure is particularly suitable for:

  • Women who have experienced changes in vaginal tightness and elasticity after childbirth.
  • Those who notice physical changes as a result of natural aging.
  • Women who want to improve sexual satisfaction and self-esteem related to the above factors.
  • Those seeking a solution to the feeling of vaginal laxity, which can affect both physical and mental wellbeing.

By choosing vaginoplasty, women can achieve a sense of renewed youthfulness and improved quality of life, both physically and emotionally.

Figure shaping of the venus mountain

Intimate surgery and contouring of the mons veneris is a possibility for those who experience unfortunate distribution of fat deposits. This can be due to both heredity and hormones. Sometimes there can be an excess of fat between the lower abdomen and the labia, which can feel uncomfortable or annoying. Even with intense exercise or dieting, this area can be difficult to reduce the fat in. The procedure is performed using small incisions in the skin where the fat is removed.

Reduction of the labia majora (Labia Majora)

For women with size discrepancies on the outer labia, whether they are too large, too small, or asymmetrical, we offer customizable solutions such as figure shaping, fat injection, or surgical intervention. These methods typically leave no visible scars. The choice of treatment is individually tailored and decided together with the surgeon during the consultation to achieve the best possible result.

Indications for labia minora correction include:

  • Experiencing physical discomfort or obstacles in daily activitiesincluding exercise or wearing certain types of clothing, due to too large or too small labia minora.
  • Have asymmetrical outer labia that affect aesthetic appearance or sexual comfort.
  • Want to improve or restore the aesthetic appearance of the area after changes caused by aging, weight loss, or childbirth.
  • Looking for solutions to improve intimate wellbeing and confidence.

Augmentation of the outer labia with fat grafting

Enlargement of the outer labia can be done with fat grafting. If you have asymmetry or lack of fullness, your own fat can be used to correct this. This fat is taken from the stomach, for example, and transplanted into the labia through small incisions. 30% of the fat transplanted will disappear within 4 months. This is taken into account when the procedure is performed, so some more fat is inserted.

Clitoris surgery (lifting the clitoral hood)

Some people may have unevenness or excess skin around the clitoris, which can cause both physical and aesthetic discomfort. The treatment involves lifting the clitoral hood, a process that is relatively simple and performed with local anesthesia or sedation.

This procedure is often performed together with labiaplasty and does not affect the clitoris itself, but only adjusts the surrounding skin.

Tightening of the vaginal entrance with fat grafting or surgery

As women get older or after giving birth, some may notice that the entrance to the vagina has widened. This can affect sensation during intimate moments. To solve this, a method can be used where small amounts of fat are injected at the vaginal entrance to make it narrower. The fat injected usually adapts well, but since the body can naturally break down and absorb about 30% of this fat, a little extra is added to ensure the desired result.
